'The National Recovery Walk 2015 Durham' AMAZING DAY, WOW!!!

SO today I travelled with recovery communities from Rugby, Coventry and Leicester to Durham for 'The National Recovery Walk 2015 Durham'.  It was a long journey up there, I left Rugby at 6:30am, got on the coach at Coventry which departed there at about 7:45am/8am, we then did a pick up in Leicester and hit the road, arriving in Durham in 12:30.  Durham is a beautiful little typical Northern town i.e on a hill, cobbled street, picturesque etc.

I didn't know quite what to expect when we got there but what we did find was overwhelming, there was thousands of using marching through the town, colourful, loud, marching band, whistle blowing awareness making noise! it was incredible to be a part of it as we marched through the town.

The Walk ended at a park where there was a series of stalls and stands, refreshments and a stage with live music etc, it was like a mini festival, truly amazing atmosphere.

We left Durham at about 4pm and got back to Coventry at about 8:30pm.  I loved every second of it, see the pics and vids below xxx
